Dina Mia Kitchens located in Iron River, Michigan, in the beautiful Upper Peninsula. We have been a manufacturer of high quality frozen Italian foods for over 45 years, and continue the tradition of excellence to this day. Established in 1971 by Leonard (Bobby) Scalcucci and his wife Diane (Dina). The company was named after her and the translation of Dina Mia is My Diane. We love the fact that the company has such a rich and loving history. The company was transferred to their daughter and son-in-law Linda and Peter Saving, who sold it to Tom and Sue Fritz in 2007 and is currently owned by their son and daughter-in-law, Susan and Tom Fritz. Interestingly enough, with the same names. Now that's family tradition.
Each and every recipe is based on the Scalcucci family tradition of fine Italian dining and incorporates the highest quality ingredients and commitment to perfection. Products manufactured by Dina Mia Kitchens in our USDA inspected plant include the following: our own lean pork sausage (which is the basis for many of our other products), pizzas, spaghetti sauce, lasagna, ravioli, cappelletti, gnocchi and chee-zee strips.
